- Get started today by downloading the App from Apple store or Google play.
- Find the class day and time that works best for you.
- Select the class name to join at the time of the event.
A Guide to Food Safety
A Guide to Food Safety: Learn the importance of food safety and how to handle, prepare, store, and cook food to prevent foodborne illness and keep your family healthy.
In this class, you will learn to:
- List at least 2-3 reason why food safety is important.
- Identify 2–3 common foods that can cause foodborne illness.
- Describe 2 ways you can apply food safety tips at home.
Joining the class is easy! To sign up and join, simply use the “Join a WIC Class Now” button below. You’ll need any one of the following items of information: the phone number on your WIC account, your WIC card number, or your Family ID number.
Please note: The group class meeting will close promptly 5 minutes after the initial start time. If, for any reason, you log in late and find that the meeting has already concluded, we ask you to consider joining another class later or on a different day that better matches your schedule.
